there was a funny situation 4 weeks ago.
i called the booking agency in the US
i usually work with and we talked about the Adler tour and that Steven has parted ways with Keri and the others.
i was really disappointed because i do the Adler shows here and i wanted to see Keri live in action since i got a hold of black market.
all of a sudden the agent said : stop,
here's someone you need to talk with...
and it was Kit who grabbed the phone and told me about their future plans.
there will be old demos and 5 or 6 brandnew songs on it.
they also want to tour after the release,
so i offered him a couple of german shows.
i hope that there's also a promoter in the UK
who is interested so they have the chance to tour europe...if so,dreams would come true
for me

I just got an email from a friend of mine that is close friends with both Kit and Kerri. He just spoke with them last weekend at a party. The new cd is all done except for three songs that need to be finished. The material is both new and old. In other words, the songs that will be on the new cd are songs that were for the most part demoed over a decade ago, but were never officially released. Kerri and Kit have pulled from that lot a bunch of the songs they personally felt were the best, and have been recording them in a full studio.

Personally I feel good about it. There are so many songs on those old demos that I thought "This is a GREAT song, but I just wish it wasn't a four-track." Now, they won't be. This will be a classic BBB cd, no doubt about it.

The project has been repeatedly delayed due to Kerri's touring schedule. At this point in Kerri's life, he's all about making money, and he knows he won't make much from this BBB cd, so it gets pushed to the back burner when anything else comes up. It will hopefully be out there soon though. It's been a long time coming!

Kit lived in Berlin for a few years and I think he was running a bar. Keri gave me his number when he talking about a project together years ago...

Keri on stage is always killer. BIG BANG BABIES live in Europe is beyond my imagination.

BLACK MARKET is a classic. Keri sent me years ago some demos of the band after BBB. It think it was called RUBBER. One of the songs ended on a Stephen Pearcy release. I always wondered why this guy doesn't write more songs. His input for the PBF EP was great and he has real talent....

<font size="4" face="Arial">I have been asking myself the same question for years....

I asked Keri Kelli and HE told me: "Ha ha ha, who knows...But thank you for your kind words and support". That's all.

<font size="4" face="Arial">RUBBER is a classic. I think it's even better then anything released under the Big Bang Babies name. Perris should package this up and release it. unfortunately Keri doesn't own the masters to the Rubber tracks. "We finally got out of that deal, which cost me a little bit of money, which I didn't want. It also cost me the master tapes. They (my publishing company at the time) ended owning the masters for all of this stuff since they paid for all the studio time as it was a publishing deal." too bad huh?

the song that was on a Stephen Pearcy release was Tweaked, but with a name change to Freak. also, Junkie Girl and Shut Up from Pretty Boy Floyds Designer Drugs EP are Rubber songs. i personally like My Girl From Mars and Just Like You. great songs.
